The Final Adventure

The Final Adventure Ash Scattering Service was created by the husband and wife team of Gary and Rosemary Lussier. Lifelong horse enthusiasts, together they have owned and operated GRG Ranch – a small horse ranch in upstate New York since 1996. Gary Sr. has been a full-time, professional farrier since 1985, and has 30 plus years of horse experience including professional training, showing, breeding, and packtrips. Rosemary is a Level 4 CHA Certified Riding Instructor with 30 plus years of experience including training, showing, breeding, and instructing.

Together with their son, Gary Jr., they have stood stallions, raised, trained, shown, and sold numerous registered American Quarter Horses, and spent untold hours in the saddle. The ranch is home to 12 horses and numerous rescued animals of all species.

The formation of this business was the opportunity to combine their love of horses, the outdoors, and a wish to do a honored and respectful service by fulfilling the last wishes of individuals wanting a unique ending. In the mountains, the air is fresher, the sky seems bluer, and the water of the many streams, lakes, and rivers runs cold and pure. The hushed reverence reminds one of the circle of life, and the beautiful gifts of nature. The peace and joy they experience while being there led them to the creation of The Final Adventure.
